Bangon terms of use

These terms apply to your use of the Bangon app. By downloading or using Bangon, you agree to them.
1. Licence
Bangon is licensed, not sold, under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). These terms add to that agreement. If they conflict, Apple's EULA governs.
2. Purchase and refunds
Bangon is a one-time purchase through the App Store. There are no subscriptions, in-app purchases, or ads. Apple processes all payments, and refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
3. Results are a working aid, not professional advice
Bangon is a calculator. Its results are meant to help with planning and layout, and they are not engineering, architectural, or other professional advice. Before you cut material, order supplies, or build, you are responsible for:
- checking every measurement and result yourself
- confirming that your work meets the building codes, permits, and standards that apply where you are
Stair and rafter results do not account for local building codes, such as limits on riser height, tread depth, headroom, or roof loads. Concrete volumes are calculated from the dimensions you enter and do not include allowances for waste, spillage, or uneven subgrade.
4. Rounding
Imperial results are rounded to the nearest 1/16 inch. Small rounding differences can add up over long runs or many repeated measurements, so allow for this when accuracy matters.
5. Provided "as is"
Bangon is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and merchantability, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fairfax AppWorks is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of materials, time, money, or property, arising from your use of Bangon or reliance on its results. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the app. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version will always be posted on this page with its effective date. Continuing to use Bangon after a change means you accept the updated terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, except where your local consumer protection laws require otherwise.
